Home again so soon?

As many of you know, my Grandmother unexpectedly passed away on Dec 23rd, I returned home for a week to remember her life and pay tribute to the wonderful person that she was. Although a sad time for our family, it was nice to have us all together once again.

SE Asia

There are just so many interesting things in SE Asia to take pictures of...I try to capture them, but some are only imprinted in my heart because my camera is not fast enough and so often I see things from the back of a moving vehicle. Bears in hammocks...so cute!

Kuang Si Falls, Luang Prabang, Laos

Kuang Si Falls are the waterfalls in Luang Prabang. I talked this Irish guy, David into cycling on cruiser bikes 35 kms each way to get there. He wasn't happy for most of the ride, but his back wheel was crooked, so he had a tougher time than me. We "raced" these other 2 american girls who were on mountain bikes (with gears) and we won. I don't know if they knew it was a race or not.
